Today is a short day for me so I'm super happy.
Last week has been the same ole same. I still haven't heard from Dr. Ellis (other than her checking in!) so I don't have any corrections I can make for my educator guides. Taylor and I did get an email from Amanda though and wants us to meet up with the camp people doing Sue and Meg to collaborate some ideas (Max and Callum I believe that's you?) We finished painting sharks teeth last week so the activity testing will be ready to go this week! My guess would be Thursday but Taylor isn't in today so we have yet to discuss it.
I don't really have much else. I've been working on my poster and it's pretty much done which is nice because it's one less thing to worry about. I can't believe summer is almost done, ah!

That's awesome that you're already almost done with your poster! I also cant believe that summer is almost over, I don't want fall to start already!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! I wish I was as far along with my project as you! I understand the frustration with having to wait for corrections...hopefully by Wednesday I'll have a better idea on what to do for my powerpoint, because right now im feeling pretty clueless...
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that you'll get to collaborate with Max and Callum about Sue and Megalodon. It would be really great if you guys could reinforce each other's concepts in the other's activities. (Reinforcing prior knowledge right?). Also, like everyone else who has read your post, I am very jealous that you are almost done with your poster. I need to get on that.
ReplyDeleteexcited to collaborate! those teeth are huge and look awesome, it seems like we can come up with some cool activities to do with them. Already done with your poster?! I still don't know how to get started on mine…I'll get there eventually
ReplyDeleteJust like Max said, it'll be fun to collaborate and figure out the best stuff to include in Meg and Sue!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's just awesome that you've gotten so far on your poster.
What did you paint on the shark teeth? Will they be measuring them and learning about proportions to the size of the sharks body? Will they see if that proportion works for other sharks and their teeth too? I'm full of questions, haha. Hope to hear from you soon!
